Our Mission Statement:
Welcome to the Smith-Yancey History website. This site is dedicated to finding out what our roots are, while staying connected to new and familiar family members. To encourage growth of the Smith-Yancey Reunion by inviting the younger members to participate and attend family functions. When Charles E. Yancey was the Director of the events, the gatherings were huge, people traveled from far to spend time with family. Today its becoming harder and harder for members to take the time to come to the reunions. Please lets change these habits and get together again like Chuck would want us to.
